Nomads & Gypsies

Privacy
and choices.

Updated 20 October 2026. This notice explains advertising measurement on our booking and confirmation pages. You can book without advertising measurement.

Who to contact

Nomads & Gypsies is responsible for this website’s advertising measurement. For privacy enquiries, use “A word between us” at the bottom of this page, or write to Nomads & Gypsies, 105 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10003, United States. This is a mailing address, not an event venue.

What we measure

On booking and confirmation pages, Meta Pixel receives visit, checkout and confirmed-purchase events. Meta may receive your IP address, browser and device information, page and referring-page information, an advertising click identifier and its browser identifiers. A purchase event includes its USD value and an opaque event identifier. We do not send your name, email, payment-card details, raw booking reference or arrival instructions as event fields. Meta processes information under its own policies for measurement, matching and advertising.

Separately, an approved Instagram campaign label may be attached to a new booking in our private records. This lets us compare the campaign with confirmed paid orders. The label does not identify a unique person and a copied link can carry it. We do not create a new visitor identifier for this private association.

Purpose and choices

We use this limited measurement to understand whether our invitations lead to bookings and improve advertising. Our basis is our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising, balanced against your privacy through limited fields, restricted access and the ability to object. Booking and payment processing are separate. Advertising measurement is optional and turning it off does not affect availability, prices or payment.

This choice applies to this browser. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal for this measurement. You may block advertising cookies in your browser and review Meta’s advertising preferences. Turning measurement off prevents future events here. It cannot withdraw events already received by Meta.

Recipients and retention

Our website hosting provider processes the private association for us. Access is restricted to campaign administration. Meta receives Pixel events and may process information outside Thailand, including in the United States. Read Meta’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for its purposes, international processing, cookie lifetimes and controls. Meta’s Business Tools Terms allow retention of event data for up to two years.

Our separate campaign associations are removed after 30 days at the next campaign write or administrative cleanup. Financial booking records have their own retention requirements and are not deleted by that cleanup. An opaque purchase-attempt marker remains in your browser until you clear site data, helping prevent repeat measurement. Your opt-out choice remains until you clear site data. No Meta Pixel runs on the payment page or this privacy page.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of relevant personal data, and object to advertising measurement by contacting us. We will assess requests under applicable law and explain any limitation, including records needed for a transaction or legal obligation. You may complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee. If you do not provide optional advertising data, you can still book normally.
